Amoral vs. Immoral

Instructions: Amoral and immoral are two words that sound and look very similar. While they are somewhat similar in meaning as well, the two words are not identical.

Amoral involves doing wrong without necessarily knowing it's wrong. Many ancient civilizations were amoral.

Immoral involves doing wrong intentionally, or being wicked and evil. God wiped out the Earth with a flood because the people were immoral.
