Plant Cell Coloring

Instructions: All living things consist of tiny cells, the basic units of life. Plant and animal cells are made up of many of the same types of small parts, called organelles. However, plant cells have some extra organelles not found in animal cells. A plant cell looks more block-shaped than an animal cell because of its rigid cell wall. Plant cells also contain chloroplast, which change light energy into food for the plant, a process known as photosynthesis. Most plant cells also have a large vacuole filled with fluid that helps the cell keep its shape. Use the key below to color the parts of the plant cell.
