Poetry and rhyme go hand in hand. While there's no law saying that poetry has to rhyme, for many poets, adding rhyming words to their poems just makes sense. However, the rhymes poets use take many different forms. Sometimes poets rhyme every line. Sometimes they rhyme every other line. Sometimes they place the rhymes in the middle of the lines.
