What is an Anagram?

What is an Anagram?

Back To School - Notebook
A gentleman and an elegant man

Conversation and voices rant on

The countryside and no city dust here

What do the pairs of words and expressions above all have in common? They are all ANAGRAMS.

An anagram is a word or phrase that is formed using only the letters from another word or phrase.
Usually the anagram offers a definition or commentary on the word or phrase it was derived from.

A gentleman = an elegant gentleman
Conversation = voices rant on
The countryside = no city dust here

The video below will introduce you to more anagrams. After watching the video, try to form some anagrams of your own!
