What is Plot?

What is Plot?

Basic Shapes - Triangle When you read a story, one of the things you must figure out is what is going on. The plot is the sequence of events in a story, or what happens in the story.

Some people like to think of the plot of the story as a triangle. The beginning is in one corner, the middle is at the top point, and the end is at the other point. That's just one way of looking at it. There are actually many different parts to the plot of a story.

The video and practice questions will introduce you to all the parts of the plot so that the next time you read a story, you can figure out exactly what is going on.
