What is a Paradox?

What is a Paradox?

In Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass, the Mad Hatter is full of confusing wisdom.

"Everyone wants some magical solution to their problem and everyone refuses to believe in magic."

"Sometimes I believe in as many as six impossible things before breakfast."

"You can always take more than nothing."

These phrases are called paradoxes. At first glance, they don't seem to make sense, but if you think about them long enough, you'll begin to figure out what they mean.

The practice questions and video will introduce you to more paradoxes and help you figure out what they mean.
