Asking a Question

Asking a Question

When you don't know something and want to find out all about it, what do you do?

You ask a question.

To ask a question, you don't just throw a question mark on to the end of a sentence.

You good?
Dogs eat?
Play with me?
Mom make dinner?

A basic question uses the following formula:

Question word + Auxiliary Verb + Subject + Main Verb

The practice questions and video below will help you learn more about the different parts of a question.
