"They're going to fly away."

"Why?"

Maybe adjectival and adverbial phrases were invented because of toddlers.

Adjectival and Adverbial phrases are parts of a sentence designed to provide more information. You may recognize parts of the words. 

An adjectival phrase functions like an adjective - it modifies a noun.
An adverbial phrase functions like an adverb - it modifies a verb or verb phrase.
